just another of my random ideas, would it be possible to have the links for the people on an ignore list hiden from the list of users logged in? like so we could only see the people we wanna chat with?

what if a group of you are talking adn a few or one of them are on your ignore list, then you would be missing part of the convershation and may get lost at points because your not reading all comments.

well, if you wanted to talk to someone, then you would erm, unignore them.

I don't see the point in that. you know who you're ignoring. if you don't want to talk to them, well, don't. and obviously they don't want to talk to you cos you won't exactly get their messages anyway. Lol
it won't be worth all the coding.

i'm with you on this, alex. :). it would also be cool if you ignored someone, then the other person's settings add you also because obviously they won't be able to contact you

agreed with rachael what's the point?

Agreed with post 5 and 1. It wouldn't be "all" that coding--just a shared piece of code among all pages that can just be added (probably using some type of regular expression).

Seems kinda pointless... Not a good idea.

I agree with posters 4 and 8. This seems pointless. I don't mind seeing that people I'm ignoring are logged in. It's not like their names on that user list are in my way. I just don't want anything to do with them, and the ignore feature already takes care of that.

well how about ignore links in the user profiles?. at the bottom of the profile it could say, "ignore this yser"

Pointless, however I do agree on the "link ignore this user" link at the bottom of the profile as I think that may make things a little easier for the person wanting to ignore someone to find them if their ignore links are hidden. Of course, doing this could possibly mean the ignore links below each user in the conversations should be removed because it's so easy for someone to accidentally hit "ignore", even though they dont mean to ignore.

if you want to ignore someone, and your ignore links are off, just type slash ignore, so and so.

well what if your publics are off, and you don't know how to do that?. then the profile link would work
